Do editorial de ontem do The Daily Telegraph:
«Yesterday, the Coalition published online millions of items of public expenditure for the past two years. The figures show in detail what departments were authorised to spend, what they actually spent and what they are forecast to spend in future. This is just a start. Later this year, all items of government spending in excess of £25,000 will be posted on the internet. For the first time, some of the most closely kept secrets in Whitehall will be subject to direct public scrutiny, the most powerful check and balance of all.»
Havia de ser bonito num país onde estas coisas acontecem e onde até os documentos publicados no Diário da República desaparecem.
